Here is the notification for Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT), for XLRI and 34 other B-Schools

XAT 2007 will be conducted in 31 cities on January 07, 2007; Test Timings: 10:00 am to 12:30 pm.

List of XAT 2007 Test Cities are - Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Bangalore, Berhampur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Coimbatore, Dehradun, Goa, Gurgaon, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Noida, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Ranchi, Rourkela, Trivandrum, Vadodara, Visakhapatnam.

Procedure for Obtaining XAT Bulletin from SBI and XAT Registration

1. A candidate can obtain XAT Bulletin from select branches of State Bank of India on payment of Rs. 700/- (Rupees seven hundred only)

2. Registration for XAT 2007.
   The applicant has to log on to the website www.xlri.edu and go to XAT registration. Here they have to fill in the XAT form on-line with personal details, XAT Bulletin No., date and SBI branch name and submit the form online. After submission the candidate will immediately get their XAT ID and password.

3. Candidate are required to download and take print out of XAT Payment Advice cum Photo Form (XAT PP Form).

4. The candidate has to paste their recent photograph and give full signature at the space indicated on the XAT PP Form. The candidate has to enclose the third copy of the bank/XAT pay-in-slip along with the duly completed XAT PP Form and use the special envelope provided in the XAT Bulletin and send it by registered post / speed post / courier preferably within a week, after obtaining the XAT Bulletin. The last date for receiving the XAT PP Form at XAT Office, XLRI Jamshedpur is December 05, 2006.

5. The candidate has to keep a copy of the printout of XAT ID and password for any modification to personal details, taking a print out of XAT 2007 Admit Card and for any correspondence with the XAT Office.

6. The candidate has to go online to www.xlri.edu anytime during December 20, 2006 and January 5, 2007 and take a print out of the XAT 2007 Admit Card where the Address of the Test Centre will be mentioned.

7. XAT 2007 scorecard will be mailed to individual candidates by 31st January 2007.

Procedure for Obtaining XAT Bulletin from XAT Office, XLRI Jamshedpur and XAT Registration

1. An applicant has to make a demand draft drawn in favour of XAT, Jamshedpur for Rs 750/- (Seven Hundred and Fifty Only) payable at SBI, XLRI Branch (Branch Code No. 4660).

2. Registration for XAT 2007.
   The applicant has to log on to the website www.xlri.edu and go to XAT Registration. Here they have to fill in the XAT Form on-line with personal information and give the payment particulars of demand draft number and date. After submission the candidate will immediately get their XAT ID and password.

3. Candidate are required to download and take print out of XAT Payment Advice cum Photo Form (XAT PP Form).

4. The candidate has to paste their recent photograph and give full signature at the space indicated on the XAT PP Form. Please mention your XAT ID and your name on the reverse of the DD. The candidate has to enclose the demand draft along with the XAT PP Form and send it by registered post/speed post/courier so as to reach XAT Office, XLRI Jamshedpur on or before December 05, 2006.

5. XAT office XLRI Jamshedpur will send the XAT Bulletin and receiving the XAT PP Form.

6. The candidate has to keep a printout of XAT ID and password for any modifications to personal details, taking a print out of XAT 2007 Admit Card and for any correspondence with the XAT Office.
