well frankly speaking the best way to improve your maths is just practice… .
i would say there is no shortcut to maths…
you study the basics from any particular study material and build upon that…
you would seriously be rewarded….
also you can join a good coaching insti. which may teach you from basics and that you really help you..
anyways all the best

Hey, this goes out to all those queries regard preps for the CAT or GMAT. I shall be giving both the tests this year. I had been planning an MBA for quite some time now and in pursuit of the same have have to a fair understanding that its mainly practise that matters. When giving the exam what counts is how efficiently u manage ur time and how accurate you are. Yes its speed with accuracy. Don’t worry if you dont attempt evey question but be sure of what you have answered. As for course material, from personal experience the material provided by IMS is quite useful. Once one has gone thru theconcepts then its the age old tried tested and gauranteed route of practise. All the best every one!!!

hi rahul
reading books always helps alot.
but at the time of reading concentrate on reading speed.
ur main target for few starting days should be speed and then concentrate on the comprehention…
cheers

Hi.I’m a student of comp engg.,well,as far as my acads go,I’ve been very good in maths all time.My english was very good prior to engg.,i’m finding problem developing it as I’ve got very few people around speaking/reading or having a flair for english. Will this affect my preps in English,n what shall I do to develop effectively?

Hi,
I am a working professional, its almost being 3 years i lost touch with books(i mean Academic books which wud be reqd for competative exams). But I am CAT aspirant, i am not sure whether i wud be able to come out as good as i wud be in my student days. I really look rusty for competative exams. What can be the best way for candidates like me to prepare for MBA entrance/CAT exams?
