Hey maniacs,It’s been over a month since i’ve joined SIIB and have begun to get the hang of things here.Let me give you a brief idea about my college.Amazing campus.The acad building is of 6 levels with the top 2 being occupied by SIIB while the other 4 are with scmhrd and scit.Girls and seniors have their hostel within the campus while the juniors of all 3 colleges have our hostel 10 minutes jog away.Now that you have a slight idea of the set up here Ill let u know about how a typical day passes at SIIB.

This is based on my personal experience. It is basically a list of things I would do given another a chance to apply again!
Also, this document is not meant to be a sure shot formula to get into a top school… It should be viewed as a list of things that you should do in order to have a decent chance of making it… In other words, not doing these things undermine your chances of making it in the best of the universities

GATE: this is the exam of basics. So there is no need of remembering lot more formulae etc. If you have the interest to learn subject then only u can get good results. Not by learning the shortcuts and formulae. Try to understand the concept behind the subject and gradually develop interest in it. If we take any previous Gate paper of any branch there is no need to remember lot more formulae, if you have the concept then you can crack it. I don’t say you need not learn a single formula; you have to remember some but not all.

I guess getting into MDI was the next best thing when compared to getting into the IIMs. Rest assured, when you land up here, you realise that MDI is definitely no less than any of the IIMS.
