1> Quantitative Analysis :
Number system, HCF, LCM, Geometric Progression, Arithmetic progression, Arithmetic mean, Geometric mean , Harmonic mean, Median, Mode, Ratio and Proportion, Percentages,Quadratic and linear equations, Algebra, Profit & Loss, Averages, Percentages, Partnership, Time-Speed-Distance, Work and time, Number Base System, BODMAS, Instalment Payments, Partnership, Clocks, Geometry, (Lines, Triangles, Spheres, Rectangles, Cube, Cone , Pyramid etc) Ratios Menstruation, Alligation & Mixtures, Work, Pipes and Cisterns, Simple Interest & Compound Interest, Set Theory, Venn Diagram, Probability, Permutations & Combinations etc.
Higher maths like Integration , Derivatives , Limits appear in JMET for IITs and also upto some extent in IIFT Delhi.
2> Verbal Section:
English Usage which includes Sentence Correction, Sentence Completion, Vocabulary , Parajumbles, Reading Comprehension , Synonyms, Antonyms , Critical Reasoning, etc.
Some exams like IIFT check you with foreign words.
3> Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning:
Graphs such as line graphs, Bar Graphs, Pie Charts and caselets appear in the exam. The other parts are Logical and Analytical reasoning which includes deductive logic , family tree Puzzles, Syllogisms, Conclusions, etc.
4> General Awarnwness/ GK :
This is one of the most diverse topics to prepare as it can ask anything under the sun but the general trend is awarness , business awarness. So keep yourself updated with all the news and reviews. Social Issues, Finance, Sports, business, etc.
