Well as everybody knows that the top notch institutes get the best of the jobs and the salaries . So if you get into a top notch B - School you can expect a good work profile and great salaries. The freshers i.e. the students who donot have prior work - experience get lower salaries and the Laterals i.e the people with work - experience get better pays.
Generally the profile given to the freshers is that of a Management trainee where there is a training of round about thre months whereas laterals are taken at higher levels.
