Academics - Are They Imortant

June 25th, 2006 by coremaniac

Academics is one of the parameters for judging an individuals application but it is not the only parameter which is used for judging an application. Academic Eligibilty for institutes are different. Some institutes ask for 50% minimum and others ask for 60% minimum.

Other important factors barring academics taken into consideration are Work - experience, extra - ciricullar activites and other achievements. The application is always weighed considering all the factors and not only academics.

If you donot have good academics you should have good justification for the same and if you have good academics you should be able to answer the questions thrown by the panel. Everything rests upon your Group Discussion ( GD ) and Personal Interview ( PI). There are some institutes which give a lot of weightage to academics such as SP Jain Mumbai.
